Neville Lodge
I designed and developed a WordPress website for Neville Lodge, using Visual Studio for the development work. The site introduced a residential care service supporting people with autism, with clear routes to service information, referrals and careers.
The challenge
Neville Lodge needed to establish a clear digital presence from scratch, balancing the needs of commissioners, service users, carers, and potential staff.

I shaped the page layouts around the information commissioners, carers and potential staff needed. The research and layout studies below show how I organised the content before carrying the design into WordPress.
Bringing the design into WordPress.
Design / DevelopmentI took responsibility for both the visual design and website development. I used WordPress as the site platform and Visual Studio to work on the code, translating the layouts into web pages and refining the presentation for different screen sizes.
A practical information hierarchy
Service information establishes what Neville Lodge offers; referral and contact routes help people take the next step; careers content gives prospective staff a separate path. Keeping these needs distinct guided the layout and navigation.
